Artist In The City |
Title: The city of Religion
Medium: Painting Size: 1x3 February 18, 2016 The three canvases that is shown has many meaning during the progress of its creation of using other artist and how they can be connected as one piece. The first canvas I wanted to have a self portrait with some meaning while the second has a meaning based on how I'll see the city in my point of view. Everything in the project carries a meaning and the point of perspective about how the city and the artist behind the story connects to each other on creating a new image of the city that we live in today's' era. |

Reflection |
Rene Magritte and Salvador Dali were the two inspirations that I picked for the project because I wanted to do other artist I know instead of pop art. The creation of Salvador Dali method I use was Madonna of the Rocks when the artist made a painting of a human figure as a structure. Rene Magritte was a second option of the progress because the background of the facially feature bring attention on what he was try to view and leave people questioning. their is two inspirations but for the one with no inspiration was with religion which is the close fist because their are many beliefs that are strong cultures that care about living in a clean city to explain the beauty of their city to be proud to be at a place to were born in. Magritte is an inspiration because he’s been painting environmental areas as human shape figures so it show and adjust to his work that he know what he’s doing with a meaning from his piece.

During the process of the project it had many multiple problems such as any other projects in my past time of my creation. The biggest part of my project issue was time management because I felt It took a lot of time to come up with ideas before I start the progress of painting. It wasn't that difficult to think of the colors for the project because while being introduce to the work the image would bring the ideas that came through mind which was purple for an example that brings contrast to improve the paintings performance. The painting was chosen with these colors because purple seemed more like a clam color that would bring contrast and the black for the original sweater also used for the rocky color. The color of the grass is obviously green but added a code of brown that represent how dirty the environment can become and affecting the city that I live in today . Half of the art work was a little rush by the timing of the due work but if I receive more time for the work I would of been more detail on the person with the rocky body.

Meaning Of The Project
The meaning of the work I wanted to capture a view on how are city is being destroyed slowly by people trashing the environment and it would bring out the craziness inside me when I watch people not care for the country. My religious belief is that everyone should help once in awhile to keep a health living environment to improve that we are not just a clean city but how we can make our future become the greatest thing other have witness. When I choose to design this project I wanted to mostly show how the emotions can be reveal and anger is what bring out on people who don't clean after themselves so I want to be the future of a person watching over the environment of the city and hear my name from every corner that their is always someone that can make a livable economy. The closed fist is that we as the city is very strong and the heart inside the fist is the heart of the city matters to many people and brings so much emotions and when the future comes I myself want to make a difference by get out there and showing how what I can do to really impact the city. The main meaning of the art piece is to show my passion for the environment and how their could be many people in the real world that could change the city leaving many people in a emotional type of way to express their feeling to the open world.
