|
The flag design with multiple ideas to create and there's a limit on how much colors you can use to make the creation of the flag and many elements of key ideas to start off the project by looking at other people's design such as Robert Indiana who is a person with plenty of experience. The design I wanted something to make it look at a certain point where you can put designing to another level mix with a little futuristic to cause attention while making a huge improvement by comparing to the old Milwaukee flag.

Process
Step 1: Brainstorming
Have creativity ideas so simple people would understand and the flag would have meaning for symbolism. |
Step 2: Planning
When having ideas have multiple flag designs as a back up design with three different stander colors.
Example:
The elements of flag design are as follows. 1) Keep it simple. 2) Use meaningful symbolism. 3) Use two to three basic colors. 4) Do not use lettering or seals. 5) Be distinctive, or related |
Step 3: Designing/Creation
After finding a design take a picture of the sketch that you plan to create in the flag design.

Meaning Of the Flags
When it comes to designing a flag that represents Milwaukee there was many things you couldn't do such as lettering or seals, even numbers but it’s an opportunity to set your mind and be creative by coming up with shape and things that happen while back during Milwaukee's time period. The flag that I created has a lot of meaning to symbolize Milwaukee and trying to use the colors to have a reflect mean as well. The flag I created the colors have a lot more meaning than the design itself such as the wave that goes across that is a blue color because we are all well known about the great lakes that are in Milwaukee, the red gear that symbolize our industrial that was there for a long time and more advance in modern time in the city and all around which is a red color because it shows the respect of the natives that once had their tribe in the great Milwaukee and we learn about their culture and proving that there were innocent people living in a peaceful environment. I put the wheat as a symbol but I learn that were not all about wheat but about brewing as a number one reason why Milwaukee has a wheat for a symbol and the color yellow because it is the original color and Milwaukee is original as well but during the past years of expanding itself it made an huge improvement leaving people proud that they stand and live in the town of Milwaukee.
