Experimentation |
Process |
During the progress of the piece their were many manipulations that occur such as the use of paint the have to have a mixture of two to three variety of paint. Another source of the work was the paint being inserted to the board which wasn't properly working, but with the additional use of water creates a concept of contact. While focusing on the procedure, the position of the body was another experimentation occur which is a important part based on inspiration of the two artist being combine. Balancing the the detail of the painting since Dali has shading and solid colors while Frida has detailing facial and background.

The process of the work had to be first sketched on paper to brainstorm ideas to set the piece and how to perform the creation. The painting had to had some solid color to show texture in the work while the main color were blue and green but also had different variety shade of blue and green. The body figure is shown for the Dali form he uses as a design to his work which was the purpose to impact my art work. The background was consider to be Frida's based on the environmental connection also Dali has work that mainly focus on the center. To the background of the project the work could be describe in many ways to why I attend to make the work I want with experimentation multiple manipulation which is the key to where I start the creation.

ACTWith the mixture of two artist as an inspiration, the work shows a cause effect relationship base of the main section for the art work which effect the methods to connect the ideas as a solid collaboration.
The overall approach is to strive the connections between the environment and the movements of Dali and Frida. Dali's cultivated exhibitionism and eccentricity in the work he created; not only in his art forms, but also in the way which he presented himself to the general public. Frida, a Hispanic artist who does self portraits because she only knows herself well more than anyone that she ever met. In addition, she also embraces her surroundings but mostly her cultural background. Salvador Dali movement surrealism embraces his motion of his use of shapes with his specific color choice with little amount of detail shading. A central idea that might occur is both inspirational artist could combine their work and have a comparison connection as it seems their might both be inspired by one another artist. Both inspirations of their movements were logically random art works that show expressions and reveals a certain emotion towards what they are trying to explain in the work. |
Reflection
Reconnecting back to the studio of the work their were many situations that occur and progress that was resolved such as the shape figure sketched on the board, the wise paint configuration that needed to be implied, and etc. Brainstorming as a artist was the key ideas to perform the work along with other art pieces that have a similarity. Difficulties that would usual occur is the theme itself base on multiple manipulations of the piece as the human figure and the plants around the shape with a desire choice of colors. The art work had to have a comparison to the main theme as Frida's work to give it depth of its reason to why that standard form, yet, the background had a mount of modification. During the work by reflecting back on the progress their was a rare amount of a simple task such as justifying the meaning of the works cultural environment and the inspiration.
